The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act)
The Clery Act is a federal law requiring compliance from all institutions of higher education participating in the federal student financial aid program.
The goal of the Clery Act’s safety and security regulations is to provide prospective students, registered students, and their families, as higher education consumers, with accurate, complete, and timely information about safety on campus. The Clery Act also ensures that information is provided to prospective ACC employees, current ACC employees, and the general public.
